Kristen Veth

I grew up in Wyoming and have been a Christian all of my life.  I attended the LDS church until I began attending and eventually was baptized in a born again Christian church during the time I was in middle school. 

When I moved to Salt Lake to begin my bachelor's degree at the University of Utah, I met my future husband and began attending this church in 2002.  I started teaching the junior high students shortly thereafter and learned a great deal in such a short amount of time.  Teaching has given me the opportunity to learn more about Christ and His teachings.  It has also given me structure and endurance.  When I feel as though I do not have the time or the will to make another lesson, God gives me strength through the Holy Spirit to teach His Word. 

I am also a leader of the Lilies.  I am very happy with what the Lilies have accomplished and am excited to see where God will take us next.  We have had some pretty major events in the personal lives of more than half of the ladies in our group -- several having babies, a few graduating and going to college -- with these events taking place, our focus has been blurry, but we are getting back on track and look forward to stabilization again.
