Music Ministry

Sunday Choir
The Sunday Choir consists of the adult members of our church accompanied by the house band.  They have been singing and playing since the inception of our church in 1987.  The choir is lead by Chrystal Ek and Sath Prum with Hensen Rin on the piano.

During the Cambodian service, Cambodian hymns  are sung.  These are usually Cambodian adaptations of christian hymns such as "How Great Thou Art."

During the English service, they lead the congregation in worship with traditional hymns.  Recently, there has been an emphasis in trying to inject more contemporary songs into the mix.  This has been a very welcome addition and will serve the church well as we adapt to a more modern setting.

Psalms 33:1-5 (NIV)

Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous;
       It is fitting for the upright to praise Him.

 Praise the LORD with the harp;
       Make music to Him on the ten-stringed lyre.

 Sing to Him a new song;
       Play skillfully, and shout for joy.

 For the Word of the LORD is right and true;
       He is faithful in all He does.

 The LORD loves righteousness and justice;
       The earth is full of His unfailing love.
