Welcome to our virtual pond!  We are the F.R.O.G.S; that is, Fully Relying On God’s Spirit.  We are a small group of 10-15 guys dedicating our activities to Christ, while having fun in the process.  From Bible study sessions, to preparing for the next basketball tournament, everything we do is for our Savior.  With more activities planned for the rest of the year, and the imagination of all these guys, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish.

Mission Statement

As men of Christ, we not only devote our time to Him and our congregation, but to our neighbors who may not know God.  We are committed to grow in faith with Jesus, be disciples of Christ, and build the trust of those around us.  Our main goal is not to have others define us, but for our character to define us. What we hope to achieve with our activities and outreach is to grow and strengthen that character with our core values.  As the F.R.O.G.S of the Cambodian Christian Reformed Church, we Fully Rely On God’s Spirit to help us achieve our mission.

  • Attitude - A good attitude and a willingness to help all contribute to what it means to be a FROG.
  • Brotherhood - It describes our unity, respect, and trust in one another.  We are all brothers united in a purpose to minister God’s Word and grow in Christ.
  • Courage - Where we live, another religion prominently shows.  We strive to have that courage to overcome any criticisms that they may have against us.  We have the courage to try new things that test, but also helps us grow, our faith.
  • Resolve - Sometimes coming up with a question can be hard, but when we do, we strive to find an answer.  Finding solutions is a key value that is implanted into the minds of all the FROGS here at the CCRC.
  • Strength - Not just the physical kind, but strength in our Spirit.  The strength to persevere through the tough times in the congregation.  The strength to help the other groups in our church to accomplish their goals.

1 Peter 5: 5-11 (NIV)

Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older.  All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.

Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Be self-controlled and alert.  Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

To Him be the power for ever and ever.  Amen.
