That's always a good word to start out any paragraph. Worship band, The Waiting Kind will take the main stage at the Sojourn Summer Bash! Concert starts at 7 and will be held at the Magna-Cooper Park on Sunday, August 14th. For more information about the event, click here. August 20: Concert of Hope to Cure - The Foundation is thrilled to announce that the Second Annual Concert of Hope To Cure will feature the Grammy Award-winning Amy Grant in a solo acoustic performance! Amy Grant is one of the most beloved Christian artists of all time. penning church staples such as El Shaddai and Thy Word, along with her latest hit, Better Than a Hallelujah. This will be held at Abravanel Hall Saturday, August 20th at 7pm. Tickets are $40-$65 with 100% of the proceeds donated to Breast Cancer prevention research. Tickets will be made available through Arttix. August 21: Worship 2011- Standing Together Ministries is proud to bring back Worship 2011! This exciting night showcases local churches hearts for ministry. This event, as always, is free! Come join them at the State Capitol August 21st at 5pm! More information will be made available here. August 26-27: Living Proof Live - Beth Moore is coming back to Utah! Join Travis Cottrell and Beth as they bring back this amazing worship conference. They'll be at West Valley's Maverick Center on Friday, August 26th from 7-9pm and Saturday, August 27th from 8am-12pm. September 10: Their Last Tour - We're absolutely thrilled that they're coming; a bit sad that this will be their final tour as a band. The David Crowder Band will be one of the headliners at the Utah State Fair! They'll be playing on Saturday, September 10th. Tickets will be $20 in advanced and $25 at the door. This includes admission to the fair! Concert starts at 7:30pm. September 16: The Generous Mr. Lovewell - They seem to 'love' Utah 'well' as MercyMe returns for their third straight year! Known for songs I Can Only Imagine, In The Blink of An Eye, and God With Us to name a few, their latest album may be their best yet with recent hits, Beautiful, Move, and All of Creation. Catch them on Friday, September 16th at the Sandy Amphitheater. Show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $15-$20 and will be sold throughout Smithtix locations and also here. October 6: Come to the Well Tour - Quite possibly the most anticipated concert of the year in Christian music is coming to Salt Lake City! Join The Afters (Light up the Sky, Lift Me Up), Sanctus Real (Lead Me, Forgiven), and yes, CASTING CROWNS (Who Am I, Lifesong, East to West, Until the Whole World Hears) as they make their way to Abravanel Hall on October 6th. You can get your tickets via ArtTix. Door opens to this concert at 6pm. October 8: Switchfoot - Salt Lake City is proud to have back Switchfoot live in concert! Known for songs like Your Love is A Song, This is Home, Meant To Live, and so much more will be rocking out the Gallivan Center on October 8th. Also joining them will be Anberlin! Should be an amazing night! Ticket info and other details have not been made known at this time yet, but as soon as we have more, we'll let you know! October 8: Charlie Hall - Christian concerts in Salt Lake City are few and far between, but not this year! We have so many that some are conflicting with one another! Charlie Hall, mostly known for leading worship at the Passion Conferences, will be throwing a concert here in Utah! This will be held Saturday, October 8th at 7pm at The Fellowship in Sandy. Tickets are only $12 and can be found here. November 10: We Cry Out Tour - Jeremy Camp makes his way to Salt Lake City! He'll be bringing his worship album live here to Utah with songs like Jesus Saves, The Way, and Mighty to Save; along with special guest, reigning GMA's Artist of the Year, Francesca Batistelli.(Beautiful Beautiful, Free To Be Me, This is The Stuff) Concert is on November 10th at 7pm and will be held at the Capitol Theatre. Brandon Heath now returns coming off his wildly successful third album, Leaving Eden. With past hits like I'm Not Who I Was, Give Me Your Eyes, and Love Never Fails, he'll be coming to give us some of his latest like Your Love and The Light In Me. He's also bringing along a special guest; a little act named BRITT NICOLE!!!! The concert was just announced so no details but check back for more! |
